Keiki Class Descriptions
Keiki Hula: Ages 5-9
Students will be taught the basic hula techniques which include basic steps, posture, and discipline. The basics will then be tide together and choreographed into a beautiful song for students to express their love for god. Attire: Pa'u Skirt or Pareo (sarong). Please no midriff bearing tops.
Keiki Hip-Hop: Ages 5-9
A unique combination class designed for your little dancers who want a more energetic style of dance to express their praise.
Attire: Closed toe shoes. Please no midriff bearing tops.
Keiki Sign: Ages 4-9
Students will be taught some sign language basics, including the alphabet and some common Christian vocabulary. The basics will then be incorporated into a fun choreographed song (or two) for students to be able to praise the Lord.
Attire: Comfortable clothes recommended. Please no baggy long sleeves or midriff bearing tops.
Polynesian Class Descriptions
Beginning Hula: Ages 10 & up
Basic Hula techniques which include basic steps, posture, and discipline. This class lays a basic foundation while learning how to use hula for worship.
Attire: Pa'u Skirt or Pareo (sarong). Please no midriff bearing tops. Please no provocative language or images on clothing.
Advanced Hula:
This class is intended for those who have previous hula training. Class consists of hula basics, and choreography at a faster and more challenging pace.
Attire: Pa'u Skirt or Pareo (sarong), please no midriff bearing tops. Please no provocative language or images on clothing.
Tahitian: Ages 5 & up
Intended for those who have no experience with this style of dance to those who are intermediate. This class will cover traditional Tahitian basics and as the weeks progress, style and motion will be implemented with song as worship.
Attire: Pareo (sarong). Please no midriff bearing tops. Please no provocative language or images on clothing.
Hip-Hop/Jazz Class Descriptions
Beginning Hip-Hop: Ages 10 & up
Instruction includes basic coordination and steps progressing with the most popular dance steps. This class is intended for beginning to intermediate skill levels.
Attire: Closed toe shoes, shorts or pants, please no midriff bearing tops. Please no provocative language or images on clothing.
Advanced Hip-Hop: Ages 13 & up
Instruction includes intermediate to advanced coordination and steps progressing with the most popular dance steps. This class is intended for advanced skill levels.
Attire: Closed toe shoes, shorts or pants, please no midriff bearing tops. Please no provocative language or images on clothing.
Intermediate Jazz: Ages 12 & up
This class is intended for those at an intermediate to advanced skill level in jazz technique and movement with previous jazz/ballet experience.
Attire: Please no midriff bearing tops. Please no provocative language or images on clothing.
Creative Sign Class Descriptions
Creative Sign Dance:
This class is co-ed, both men and women are welcomed. The instructor will be using Sign expression of worship that is created to use ASL gramated structure. Accurate sign that is not word order of conversational ASL, but sync English word order at times.

Men's Sign

Specialty Classes
Parent's Prayer Group: Free of Charge
Many of us wait for our children during their Hearts in Motion classes on Thursdays. This is a space for parents to meet and spend time lifting up their children in prayer. We will meet for about a half hour. All are welcome. There is no charge for this small group.
